Those Who Are Centered
I have taken many steps
And journeyed many places
Met many people
And looked into their faces.
Though many miles I traveled
I have seen but a few
Whose countenance reflected
A sparkle like the dew.
For most were filled with worry
And anxiety about their life
And every step they took
Added to their strife.
Then there were those,
Who were hard to find,
Who greeted each morning
And like the sun they shined.
Of those I noticed
A difference in their stride
For they walked silently
As if in a glide.
Each step was sacred
Taken one at a time
They flowed with the Mystery
And life for them did rhyme.
For those I am grateful
They have shown a better way
And now every morning
I greet the sacred day.
There is only one step before us
The future to be entered
Towards a sacred destiny
Travel those who are Centered
