Joseph Harold Byrne, Jr., is a retired ordained minister and mechanical engineer.  Joseph enjoys solving tricky puzzles whether for engineering designs for which he holds many patents or for ancient archeology and Biblical puzzles.  Joseph’s interest in the archaeological history of the Holy Land began in 1968 while researching historical sites in Jerusalem as a young ministerial student.  Joseph also holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism and a minor in anthropology.

Joseph lives with his wife in North Texas.  He has been an avid bird watcher since 1963.  Joseph is a Zen Meditation practitioner and enjoys travel.  Joseph is fulfilling his retirement goal in writing about his conclusions and discoveries as the result of a lifetime of interest in historical sites.  Several other books are in the works.
